Dear brother officials,

      I hope this letter finds you and your families well. I am looking forward to the upcoming season and to serve as your president, and to thank Jeff and his committees from last year for a job well done.

      There will be a major change this year how freshman and JV will be assigned. They will now be listed on the RIIL website. The negotiation committee has been working on the new contract and both will be addressed at the summer meeting. I will be calling the meeting to order at 7:00 so please plan on being there early for the winter pants.

      This year, as always, I would like to stress attending meetings. If you can't make a meeting a letter has to be written to the secretary and approved by the executive committee. I have added a meeting in November, this will be a quick meeting to go over five man crews and there responsibilities. We are now talking about going to a five man crew not only in the playoffs but the regular season, and I think we should all be on the same page.

      As was the case last year we have good numbers in the classrooms, but could always use more. If you know anybody interested in joining please contact Dave Beal and I'm sure he will help them right along.

      Lastly, you also received your availability forms with this letter. Please mail one check to Dave Creta (don’t forget the $19.00 for your pants), and your forms to Kevin Conway by JUNE 15th. I hope you all have a great summer and look forward to seeing you in August.
